Profit Management on CRM
Profit and debt management is a process that involves controlling and overseeing the inflow and outflow of funds, as well as managing debts owed by a business and its partners. Profit management focuses on improving operational efficiency and optimizing profits, while debt management aims to minimize risks and ensure debt recovery for the company.
Therefore, managing these two factors is crucial to achieving stability and long-term sustainability for business. By understanding and applying a rigorous management process, companies can optimize profits and lay a strong foundation for future growth. Below are the profit management features that CRMOnline provides to make the business management process easier.
With the Profit Management feature on CRM, the software automatically generates reports, providing managers with a clearer view of the company’s sales, customers, and outstanding debts. This makes it easier for them to make timely decisions. The Profit Management feature is divided into three smaller features to manage according to different business categories:
- Profit by Opportunity
- Profit by Customer
- Profit by Order
All three sections come equipped with filtering, searching, and data statistical functions.
The software allows filtering of necessary information such as: time periods (this week, last week, this month, last month, etc.) or a custom date range; filtering by employee account group; searching for position or employee name. The data is then summarized in a report at the bottom.
1. Profit by Opportunity:
The system calculates the total profit for all opportunities related to the customer, according to the following columns:
- Revenue: The total amount calculated based on invoices that have been paid or are pending payment.
- Total Collection: The total amount collected via payment receipts.
- Total Expense: The total amount of payment receipts that have been settled.
- Profit: Calculated by the system as Revenue – Total Expense.
- Outstanding Debt: Calculated by the system as Revenue – Total Collection.
2. Profit by Customer:
In addition to the above, the following fields are added:
- Sales: The total amount based on successfully closed sales opportunities.
- Profit by Opportunity: The total profit from sales opportunities related to the customer.
- Profit by Order: The total profit from all orders placed by the customer.
3. Profit by Order:
For profit calculated by order, the system provides detailed reporting of the total profit for each individual order and compiles data by order.
